The West Jordan Youth Committee facilitates better communication with and coordination of the needs and interests of the youth residents of the city of any age through 18 years. They function as an advisory and planning group and oversee several subcommittees. Committee members will interact with the City Council and city staff and develop a better understanding of the role of municipal government and how to address the varied interests of the citizens. This committee has 7 voting members who are appointed by City Council. The Youth Council appoints officers and plans and implements its own activities. The Youth Council meets the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. in room 331 at City Hall. - Youth Theatre - coordinates with the Arts Council and provides theater learning and performance opportunities for West Jordan youth of all ages. Committee membership is open to residents of West Jordan ages 18 and older, but performance opportunities are open to youth of all ages. West Jordan Youth Theatre Website
- Youth Sports - coordinates and interfaces with the various youth sports organizations, leagues, associates and clubs operating in and around West Jordan. Membership is open to West Jordan residents 18 or older.
