Instruct your children about the importance of this principle for the animal and their own safety. Keep a collar with current license tags on your pet at all times. Maintain your animal's rabies vaccinations and have it spayed or neutered. Include the Animal Control emergency phone number with your list of other quick reference numbers, at home and on your cell phone, in case you should observe an animal emergency. Encourage your City Council representative to support the Animal Control program. Urge these and other officials to take crime against animals seriously and voice your concern to advance pro-animal ordinances. The City of West Jordan Animal Control program gladly accepts donations of dog and cat food, cat litter, and blankets. Additional resources allow the shelter to care for the animals longer and helps them live more comfortably. We can't fulfill our mission without your help.
